wie man unschwer erkennen kann, stimmen bei einigen Dateien die Besitzer und die Gruppen nicht - bzw. gibt es sie bei mir nicht. hab auch mal im frisch gedownloadeten (geiles Deutsch) Archiv geschaut... das selbe...

Is it a bug or a feature???
Wem sollten die Dateien gehören? root?

Das ist echt komisch... bei mir gab es noch nie einen User mit der UID und auch keine Gruppe mit der GID.

also dann ist wohl bei mir was im ar*** ... aber wie soll das gehen? ich hatte nie so eine UID und wer oder was sollte die Attribute ändern? dann kann ja nur ls oder tar kaputt sein... oder zumindest verwirrt....

hat jemand nen tipp für mich???

ich wusste noch gar nicht das es überhaupt möglich ist, dass Dateien oder Verzeichnisse unter Linux chownless sind.. Das widerspricht ja auch irgendwie dem Grundgedanken des Dateisystems...

Rein gefühlsmäßig würde ich bei der Suche aber bei Tar beginnen.
Eventuell liegts ja auch an Deinen Tar-Aufruf tar -xvf statt tar xfz - habe jetzt gerade keine Zeit die Man-Pages zu studieren...

wenn du auf ein System ein Ordner mit Dateirechten packst und auf ein anderen mit diesen Dateiberechtigungen entpackst, kann soetwas passieren

UID und GID muss es nicht zwangsläuffig auf beiden Systemen geben

habe mir jetzt einfach mal die m5 Version von PD-Admin geladen... und bei mir sind die User rechte genau wie du beschrieben hast.

Also ein bestätigter Bug ^.^...
